Hi everyone, i've been lurking for a while and have posted a little on my old BMB and on TTC after 35. THought I'd take the leap and start posting here too.

I've been reading everyone's stories and hope to find support/give support here. 

I'm 36 (almost 37) and DH is 36. Been TTC #2 since April. #1 was conceived naturally. 

Saw an RE for the first time last month. Took Clomid CDs3-7. I had a sono on CD 12 to check follies, and had one at 17mm and one at 22mm. They triggered me with Ovidrel in the office and said to BD that night and the next night. I guess technically I am 2DPO but hard to tell. They said the Ovidrel would make me ovulate within 24-36 hours. They said to take a pregancy test on December 28th. I will not take on before because I don't want to get a false positive from the trigger. 

If I don't become pregnant this month, we may do IUI. Trying to take it one step at a time but it's all so overwhelming!

I hope to be more active here. 
BFP: 5/10/14 after 14 cycles of trying!
EDD: 1/21/15
5/12 1st beta: 28
5/14 2nd beta: 87.5
5/23: 3rd beta: 4000.6 + saw gestational sac and yolk sac
5/30: 4th beta: 17,852 + saw fetal pole and heard heartbeat! 127 BPM!

    Welcome, good luck. How old is your LO and how long have you been trying for #2?  


    Eta- I see you've been trying since April. So that first part was a test to see if I am actually paying attention :P Well played, lady. 

    We're a nosy bunch, so feel free to tell us all your business. The board is usually pretty dead on weekends.

    I'll share some more ;) DS is almost 2 1/2. Born in August 2011. C-section and I would definitely do an RCS next time. I had a very easy experience.

    I had an HSG on Monday. Definitely wasnt enjoyable but not the horror show I was expecting. I am hoping that gives me an extra boost this month.
