Good morning ladies and Happy Monday.
I wanted to ask if any of the ladies here are also feeling the same way I am. I'm 20 weeks TODAY! Yay! But as of late I come to realize that towards the end of the day, especially just before bed I feel like when I take a breath I need to make an effort to take a deep breath. It feels like something is sitting on my chest. I have mild asthma that's brought on by allergens. mold and cat dander but I haven't been exposed to any of that as of late. I read that the baby if he or she is being carried high can affect my diaphragm. But I don't know what carrying high looks like and if this is normal or something else. I go see my OB tomorrow for my A/S and will talk to her about that then. Just for now I wanted to see if any other ladies have gone through this or was it just me?

But like @melissamello said, your heart is working harder and your blood volume has increased a lot, even when you're in good shape this can make you get out of breath easier. I know for me, climbing the stairs to get to work in the morning now pretty much feels like the hardest thing in life.
