Eating the night before

I'm having my RCS this coming Monday at 10 am. Problem is that I have reactive hypoglycemia which causes me to shake uncontrollably and feel like I'm about to pass out if I don't eat. Since I can't eat past Midnight, I'm wondering what others ate the night before that may help me not be so starving when I wake up. My blood sugar is usually around 70 when I wake up, but drops after I don't eat. TIA.

    yes- definitely call and ask.

My OB was strict about me having water and my thyroid meds. So make sure you ask before hand to double check.

I would go for eggs and whole grain toast at 11:45pm, lol! And yes, definitely ask about Gatorade in the morning.

That's a good idea. I'll probably put some peanut butter on it also. Thanks.

Ask your Ob, you may be allowed to have clear liquids (jello, chicken broth) up to 4 hours before your csection

I would definitely ask your doctor! I am a diabetic so I was allowed to snack a little bit during my labor to keep my blood sugars good. I also had an unplanned c section without any problems since I ate as well.
