Never felt a contraction/ BH

Hi girls. I'm 39 weeks and never felt anything like a contraction or BH yet. Anyone else in the same boat as me. I just feel like maybe I just won't and will have to be induced because my body doesn't know how to go into labor. Lol. I guess I am just thinking too much ( this us what happens when ur home and bored for the last 3 weeks!)

    Some people don't feel anything until labor. Since you're only 39 weeks I wouldn't worry just yet. Yes you are over thinking it. You have no idea what your body is capable of yet.

    With my first I never had any signs of labour. No BH, no mucus plug, no nothing. But the day after my due date labour started. With my second it was constant aches, BH, false labour, labour started two weeks before my due date. It really all depends on your body, the pregnancy and baby. I know it's no guarantee you won't need to induced. But hopefully it will help you to relax and let baby guide you :)

    With my first nothing. I was induced at near 42w. With my second lots of BH, no labor ever came on. With #3 I had tons of contractions, cramping, etc. thought for sure I'd go into labor. Nope, RCS after my EDD. So really nothing is an indicator that you will or will not go into labor.
    My BFF felt nothing and bam 41w 6d labor and a baby :)

    Felt nothing with my DD until labor at 39 weeks 2 days. I have had BH with this LO. 39 weeks tomorrow so it really doesn't mean anything.

    I didn't have any signs with my first and I am 39 weeks now and haven't had any signs with this one either!!

    I will be 39 wks Wednesday and have also felt nothing and I have no idea what to expect and it's driving me nuts. You are not alone- the anticipation is driving me nuts!

    I felt BH about halfway thru my pregnancy and then didn't have them later on. I had very mild contractions the morning I had DD at 39w but never any before that. For me they were like extremely intense menstrual cramps in my lower back and abdomen. I was so anxious to feel a contraction being a FTM. Looking back though, I'm thankful I didn't feel any beforehand -- they were intense!

    I'm due on Thursday and haven't felt any contractions or BH either! Glad I'm not the only one :)

    This is me, I may have had 2 contractions yesterday but Im not sure.

    I'm 39 weeks today and woke up this morning with BH (first time I've felt them) :( I thought they were the real deal until I went to my OB appt and they told me they weren't.

    WIth both of my pregnancies I went into the hospital, to be induced, at 4cm and 80% effaced having never felt a contraction.

    More of the same...

    With my first, I had zero signs:  0/0, never a BH, never a practice contraction, didn't lose my MP.  Then unexpectedly went into labor at 3am one morning.

    Lucky you! They're a pain in my ass!

    My BFF had her baby last year and never had any contractions prior to active labor. And she had her baby within an hour of checking in at the hospital! I wouldn't worry about it too much. When they do happen, at least you won't be sitting around like me, wondering if they're the real deal or not.
