We aren't bilingual but I'd love to explore the possibility of a language immersion preschool if I can find/afford one. I absolutely want my little one to be able to speak Spanish.
French/English, but both DH and I also know some ASL (and one of DH sister is fluent) so hopefully we'll have a semi trilingual baby in the end. Currently DD (10 months) uses about 4 signs consistently (milk, more, finished, up).

Ummm idk I speak English.. Husband speaks English and Spanish (along with all of his family) so its up to him to teach the baby Spanish (I have tried learning it and I just can't remember anything lol).. Idk if it will actually work or not. But for sure sign language. Its the best way to communicate with a baby before they can speak.
My friend's mom will be watching our baby. They are Colombian and she speaks little English. We are hoping that baby will pick up Spanish from her. I would also like to invest in Rosetta Stone to learn Spanish.
Me! Spanish is my first language, so we are planning on having a bilingual baby. My husband and I have decided I will mostly speak spanish at home, and he will speak English. I learned English when I was 3, in 6 months, just by being immersed in it. I hope we do it just as successfully!
English & Spanish here. I only speak English but my husband's first language is Spanish and his parents only speak Spanish. We plan to speak both English and Spanish at home and baby girl will have only Spanish at my in-law's house.
English and Spanish. My parents only speak to Charlie in Spanish. I was supposed to also but English is just easier for me so I tend to do a combo. I'm hoping I get better when baby #2 arrives!
We're hoping to. We are both native English speakers, but Dude speaks some Italian, and there's a French immersion day care near our house that we're considering.
It's such a benefit to know more than one language, I really want to get LO started before school since most schools start that instruction far too late.
I'm raising one already by 18 months my daughter knew her letters, numbers, and colors in Spanish she only knows Spanish she will be 21 months at the end if the month. When she is 3-1/2 I'll begin teaching her English and I'll do the same with this one. My mom takes care of her while I work and I am very specific on no English, don't want her getting confused. I do not understand why some ppl look Down and criticize because they know another language, I think it's much better for them!!!!!!
DH is trilingual, English, Hindi, and Bengali, so we're hoping the LO can be the same. We are planning to speak Hindi to each other, I will speak English to LO, and DH will speak Bengali to him/her.
English and spanish! When should you start introducing the second language? I live in a spanish speaking country but was thinking of talking to the baby in english at least twice a week!
English/ Russian/ and maybe Creole if MIL teaches baby.

Me! I am Dominican and my husband is Jamaican and Chinese....baby will learn Spanish....hubby doesn't know Chinese, unfortunately! Hope I can really commit to speaking Spanish at home for the baby's sake since currently we only speak English as that is the only language hubby speaks...LOL
English and Maltese. DH is American and I'm half English (dad) and half maltese (mum). I was raised on both languages but took French, German and Spanish for all of my academic years starting from about 6. I grew up in England and they really throw you in there early!

At minimum, English/Spanish. DH's family speaks Italian so I'm hoping his mom will pass that on to our LO.
