Best $20 I've ever spent

Walking through the Maternity section at a store, I was thinking to myself "I will only need these clothes for a couple months of my life." I did a quick search on Craigslist for "maternity clothes" and came across a post for "big box of maternity clothes" for $20. I am currently counting up my haul and I now have 10 t-shirts, 10 long sleeve shirts, 3 dresses, 3 pairs of shorts, 4 pairs of maternity jeans, 2 maternity dress pants, 1 sweater and a maternity wrap/jacket thing. Not only that, when I was at the couple's house, they also gave me a shopping bag full of baby clothes they said they were going to donate anyway! Some of it is not really my style, but hey, for $20 who am I to complain!

Just sending out an idea/posi vibes for those of you who are trying to figure out how to manage a budget for maternity clothes. There are others getting rid of the things you might need for cheap! :)

    I found a lady on FB yard sale site that has my size maternity (I'm plus size) so I'm trying to find time to make it over there to raid her stuff!!

    Just FYI you'll need those afterwards too for a few months - I was glad I had at least 1 good pair :)

    I spent some money on maternity clothes. Nothing crazy like pea in the pod or anything... I got a few a target/motherhood maternity.   I'll be honest, I only wore them for a few months, but wore the heck out of them.  By the time I was done only a few items are in good shape.  Everything else is very well worn. Plus, you end up wearing many of the shirts and pants for a couple of months after since you don't 'spring back' to your pre-baby body right away (or ever).
