Sick Velcro baby took over an hour to get to sleep. At one point I told him to shut up and then we both cried for a few minutes. So mad at MH because I'm so hopped up on emotions after playing nurse all weekend.

Someone send all the booze

    Ooo I'll take the moscato @ryanswifey619!! We have wine here but I don't want to open a whole bottle...maybe I'll heat up some pear sauce and use it as a mixer

    Ha! Thanks. We're starting to come out of Flumageddon and I swear, when you have a chance, this is the best way to take a break. Bumping, soaking and drinking. I'm never getting out. \:D/

    I just feel like such a shit mom. When I was trying to get him to sleep I kept thinking about how much better it would be if there was a boarding school for infants...return him to me when he's like 13 months

    Awe, well that's not so bad. At least you were thinking that you wanted him back. That says something.

    For reals though, I was kinda getting a little out of my skull with this whole thing too. Ben would be up crying all night long and once I caught myself saying, "I don't know what you want. What do you want?!" Yeahhhh.... Not my best moment.

    Thanks! For those considering more than one kid...take pictures of the tears. It's hard to remember how difficult the first year is when all you see is smiles!

    And I'm sorry Ty ended up sick. I was really hoping it was just the exhausted look of a growth spurtin baby.

    His fever never got higher than 101 and he stopped throwing up Saturday, but something is definitely up. Bradley threw up last night too and woke up from his nap with a fever "mommy my mouth feels yucky". Whatever illness they have is, fortunately a mild one

    Oh my gosh! :( Poor baby and poor mommy! I hope he settles down and allows you that much deserved glass of wine.
