Websites to get ratings for baby gear?

I am trying to investigate quality/safety of car seats/cribs/etc. I looked at Consumer Reports, but they don't have a huge selection. Anyone know of a site or book that can help with this?

I use amazon as far as customer reviews go.There are usually tons of reviews on there and if there is big flaws or annoying problems with the product it is usually mentioned many times. I also look at the dates the review was left because sometimes there are contradicting reviews and if you look at the later dates you can kinda tell if the issue was resolved.
