Pain in Left Leg

I am about 10 weeks pregnant and having pain shooting down my left leg, mostly in my calf area. I stupidly looked it up online and am now freaked out I have a blood clot. Has anyone else felt anything like this at all? I'm going to call my Dr. Monday and let them know I'm concerned but until then I need something to ease my mind.

    I also read it could be sciatic nerve pain, but does that happen so early in pregnancy?

    If in addition to your pain your noticing warmth, redness, or swelling, and/or it hurts to put weight on your leg then I'd get checked for a blood clot.

    Sciatic nerve pain...I have it all the time but also have two bulging discs in my lower back..

    Could it be sciatic nerve pain if its not in my back, but does start in my butt? I never had this with my first so it kind of freaked me out.

    I would say yes it could be sciatic nerve pain if it is originating in your butt muscles and radiating down your leg. I had it later last pregnancy but am already having it some this pregnancy. There was a post about this a few days ago, if you can search for it, and there were some stretches in that post that could help. I have been loving the one I posted about.

    I have the EXACT same pain. It's currently my most frustrating symptom. Changing position is excruciating at times.

    I'm pretty sure it's a combination of a previously injured hip and sciatica.

    Measure both calves.  If one is noticeably larger than the other, it could be a blood clot.  I had one at 25 weeks with DS.  It is a much different feeling than sciatica.

    Thanks everyone! I've calmed down a little and am thinking it's just sciatica. It's just such a new feeling to me and definitely uncomfortable!

    I don't have shooting pain, but I have a burning sensation every now and then in the same spot.

    i had wicked sciatic nerve pain with my first starting around 10 weeks and lasting allllllllll the way till he was born.  so fun!  it sounds similar to what you're describing.  definitely started in my butt and radiated down.  hope it eases up for you soon.

    Sciatic nerve pain is truly a pain in your butt! I had it so bad my last pregnancy I had to see a chiropractor twice a week. Yoga is great to minimize the pain.

    Sciatic nerve maybe. Mine gave me problems pre pregnancy and it's already flaring up. I also suspect a bulging disk since I have one confirmed in my neck and they run in my family.

    Sciatic nerve pain! I have it in my left leg too starting about a week ago.
