Hi,
I am going to be 36 weeks soon, and I have been treating Factor V Leiden heterozygosity with Lovenox. At 36 weeks, I will be switching to heparin, due to the shorter half-life, so that it is out of my system faster once I go into labor. When the hematologist prescribed heparin, he just have me my prescription and told me to call if I had any questions. I forgot to ask him...but aren't you supposed to be monitored when on heparin? I thought that someone told me that I would have to be monitored...but I really don't have much experience with this drug. Any feedback on your experience with heparin injections would me appreciated
