So the last week or so, T has been sleeping really badly (it's a phase! it's a phase!) - she's been sleeping badly for a long time, but recently we haven't been able to settle her when she wakes up in the night, so give up and take her to our bed. One of us will sleep on the couch and get a good night's sleep and the other will deal with this wriggling, kicking, jumping, rolling, flipping monster.
I don't know what it is: she seems asleep, but she is SO active, she flings herself around the bed and can't lie still, BUT she's asleep! For example, last night in the space of a minute, she went from lying with her head on my knees and her feet on my stomach, then moved to her head on my knee, with her body on the bed next to me, in a kneeling position, then moved to head on my stomach, legs wrapped around my legs, to sitting upright with her head against the pillow. ALL IN LESS THAN A MINUTE.
She sticks her bum in the air, then rolls over and kicks her legs in the air, then rolls around and finds another position. I think she is uncomfortable and can't find a comfy position, or she's in some sort of discomfort (fucking molars?) or something, but her little body can't be getting much rest. And this goes on for HOURS.
Does anyone else have something like this? Any ideas?

Re: A weird sleep issue - help?
But thanks for the commiseration... it helps knowing that she's not the only one doing this weird shit. Growing pains?
