I put the canopy over her when she's sleeping too. I actually like to go when she's awake now because she's a pretty good copilot!

I had my LO at Publix a few months ago, in the Baby Bjorn. The older lady bagging went on and on about how cute she was, then proceeded to tell me that there was a mom here a few days before that told her that she couldn't see the baby.

Lady: "She had the baby in the car seat with a blanket over it. When I asked if I could see the baby, she SAID NO! Can you believe that?!" I chuckled in my head, and said to myself "hell yes, I believe it."

But out loud I just told her, "I don't think you can argue with a new mom." She said "I guess you are right." Still cracks me up at how indignant she was that she was not allowed to look at someone's baby. She said it as if someone told her she was not allowed to see the sun.

I miss Wegmans something awful! My little man is definitely a magnet of sorts. I think SO probably has a better chance with the ladies now with little man in tow, than he ever did before... At least that's what he likes to think. I encourage it, so he'll take him on more solo walks and I get me time.

Looking is ok. I get mad when people touch her. I say "opp, no touching please!" And most people get it but some think I'm weird. Oh well

This is why I shop at Trader Joes. I'm not sure I e ever seen an elderly person at Trader Joes. All hipsters and yuppies but at least they don't touch my baby.

Mh didn't believe me when I said A was a people magnet and that they always want to touch him. An hour of shopping together on Friday and he was shocked and disturbed by how many people touch the baby.

We were at the cheese factory on Saturday and waiting for DH I was standing with LO, and a dozen older ladies were all "ooh look, how cute!" and then an older gentleman was like "oh theres the little guy!" Um....shes a girl thank you, and shes wearing a pink snowsuit and a hat with a pink bow.

I heart old people, so I'm down with grocery shopping with the baby. Far prefer it to the three year old who is beginning to beg for anything with a cartoon face on the package or fruit that's out of season. Why can't we buy watermelon in July? Why? WHY MAMA?!

My grandfather and DH's grandmother are both in nursing homes. They both become very popular whenever we visit with E...by the wheeled chair droves.

Happens to us all the time. People are always coming up to me and the twins when we're out. I don't let people touch them though. I would never think of touching a stranger's baby.
