I like a lot of these names and don't think stripper when I hear a lot of them, but at the same time, I get the joke and see why they're on there.

One of my all time favorite names is on the list: Autumn.

ETA: Oh, white trash. Thought it was stripper. Anyway... Wicked funny scene and kudos to Mark Whalberg for remembering them all, haha.

I wouldn't consider any of these. I've known a bunch of girls with these names - growing up in the 70's/80's and all, but really don't like any.

My actual name is on that list

In my neck of the woods (the central South) all poor, unsophisticated white girlsu are named Brandi or Crystal or they are named after their grandmothers. I actually like Brandy but I would never use it. The baby girls being born in these circles (whos moms are now more savvy and follow trends online) have names like Graysen, Maddison, Brynn or use boys names on girls or something pretty and pseudo sophisticated like Ophelia. I think that that list is pretty dated.

Some of these, like Lauren, are very nice names. It's such a funny scene, I didn't get too worked about whether I agreed with the specific names on the list or not

But I will say anything ending in Lynn does give off that vibe for me, so that part of the scene was spot on for me

My name is on the list, it was very trendy so I'm not surprised to see writers poking fun at it.

I am surprised to see Marilyn on there, it doesn't seem like a 70s name at all (or white trash.)

Is it on there because of Marilyn Monroe? (I didn't see the movie.)

I am not sure where the list came from. It feels like it was random for me. But I was born in the 90's so if there is a reference I may be missing it.

My name is the very first one, well it's my nn but it's still annoying. H thinks it's hilarious everytime we see this scene because I am definitely not white trash. I do agree some of the names have a trashy vibe but most of them were just late 70's/early 80's names.

The list is way to long and contains too many classic/top 10 names to be a reliable list of "white trash" favorites. Lauren = white trash? Jenny = white trash? I mean, Jennifer was the #1 name in every state in the nation for 15 years running. A few white trash parents are going to choose Jennifer, nn Jenny, along with everyone else.

Here are the ones I actually think are white trash names, based on the white trash I grew up with in my hometown:

Kylie

Anything with an "i" ending instead of a "y" in front of -Lynn = white trash by default
