Straps on stroller very tight

We have the Baby Jogger stroller and LO loves it. The problem is that he has gotten so big that even at the biggest settings for the shoulder straps and the crotch area, the harness just makes it over his body. With a winter coat on, the straps do not go over his upper body at all. Has anyone else experienced this?He is in the 97% for height at 21 months and I just don't know what to do. Are there strollers that are better for taller babies? Are there strap extenders?

Yes, thanks for reminding me about that option. I will play with adjusting where we clip the strap. The strap itself has already been adjusted to the largest setting.

I have the same issue with the britax. Most recently since he is wearing a big coat.
