No Cry Sleep Plan update @gallaura

You asked for an update on how our sleep plan is going.
We're almost at one week following the plan and she's down to one wake up a night and 50% of the time I can get her back to sleep without picking her up (and without crying of course).
So my update is IT'S WORKING, IT'S WORKING, IT'S WORKING!!!
It's takes a lot of time and patience but to me it's easier than letting her cry.
I hope that she'll be back to sttn in time for her to get all messed up again over Christmas :P

Re: No Cry Sleep Plan update @gallaura

  • No I didn't because everyone's sleep plan will be different based on their situation. My situation is she sleeps in her crib and she was waking every hour and needing to be rocked back to sleep. There are different solutions if you are co-sleeping and need to feed at every waking for example
The book is the No Cry Sleep Solution. I bought it one day and started reading it at 7 when she went to bed and by the time she woke up at 9:30 I was done reading it and had the plan written up.
I highly recommend giving it a try!

  • @greywolf12 I am so excited for you !!! I need to finish the book and write my sleep plan. You just gave me encouragement! I've been slacking with the plan but implementing parts of it.

What do you think of the not changing the diaper part in the night? It makes sense when there not eating as much but now he gets soaked since he is still eating.

Please let me know how it continues to go. It's just what I needed to hear on my 4th feed and wake up!
  • I will keep you updated! I definitely agree with not changing the diaper, it wakes them up fully. I use the Pampers baby dry but I use a size bigger than what she uses in the day and she stays dry
    Good luck!
  • Yesterday he was soaked at 5 am. So I'll try a bigger size! In the morning I will finish the book!
