grunting, vocal infant

hi bumpy's,
my infant is almost 5 weeks old, and is an extremely vocals baby. Especially at night,
She grunts a lot and very intensely. ..it's almost like she forcing something b out...but it's not gas or anything. Anyone else have a vocal baby?

    My 11 wk old used to grunt constantly and very loud. He seemed to always be in pain and uncomfortable. Ended up being severe reflux and milk allergy!

    Ours likes to grunt and roar and make staticky sounds, especially when she's transitioning between being asleep and awake.  She's perfectly healthy, according to her ped.

    I call my DD my little zombie. She makes all these cute little grunting noises. They get pretty intense when she is getting excited to eat. Love her!
    Can't figure out the signature thing, so here's the short, short version.....first daughter born on November 10, 2013. She was conceived through the magic of IVF after 2+ years of TTC.

    I love all the nicknames. I call my baby "Little Alien" for all the crazy sounds. He grunts and growls, but it is gas or poop related in our case.

    Yep my little lady does the same. We say she sounds like a mix of dinosaur & elephant. She's 3 weeks old. My DS was never this loud lol
