I am an elementary school teacher. I climb stairs several times a day (I'm on the 2nd floor and everthing includig the bathroom is on the 1st floor). My doctor has left it up to me when I leave. I will be 28 weeks during the Christmas break and 30 weeks when school resumes. I'm debating between leaving next week or staying til mid January. Any advice is appreciated.
Re: How did you feel between 28 and 32 weeks?
Your body will let u know what you can/can't handle.
I got kicked out of work around 27w (PTL).
I felt okay, but walking was a real challenge at that point. I mostly sat at a desk at work and didn't have to deal with stairs or anything. I had the advantage of scheduling meetings in my area and making everyone come to me. I was planning on working at least another two weeks because I felt pretty good when I got kicked out by my doctor.
So just take it day by day. See how you feel. Best laid plans and all... this is something that you really will have a hard time giving a firm date for. I started telling my boss if I thought I'd make it another two weeks to my next doctor's appt. The day I was written out of work was a doctor appt day.
TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!
Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
I have a friend, though, who was a teacher and pregnant with twins and worked until her scheduled c/s at 38 weeks.

Really looking forward to Christmas break.
My wall really was 31-32w. It just got hard to do simple daily tasks after that.
