yay for poo!

Thanks for all the advice about dealing w/ constipation. ?I am happy to report that DS is no longer all blocked up. ?He had one poo yesterday and 2 today so I think we're back on track. ?We did the diluted prune juice twice per day. ?I'm guessing it's OK to stop it now that he's back on track but guess I'll call the nurse line tomorrow just to be sure. ?We've also switched to oatmeal cereal instead of rice. Thanks again for your help!

  • I am so worried about this! AT has this problem a lot. We give him an ounce of apple juice a day. He could never handle the prune juice it seemed to upset his stomach.

I am worried when he goes to cereal it is going to make it worse for him. I guess that is on my list for his next appt.

I am glad that scott was able to get things moving again....their tummies are so sensitive!

  • Yay for poo!  I kept Eli on an ounce of prune juice every day until we started solids, and no rice cereal.  When we started solids we just made sure he had lots of P foods (pears, peaches, prunes, etc) and that kept him pretty regular.
