LOL! So typical. I always joke with DH about this. Why people feel that they need to stock up on bread and milk during a snow storm is beyond me. DH did go out and get some beer though, for himself obviously.
LOL we are almost out of milk (and some other things) so we're about to head to the store, I'm sure it will be packed as we're in New England and the snow is due to move in anytime after 4pm. I worked at a grocery store in high school and the bread and milk shelves would be barren at the end of the night if a storm was coming.

Is anyone even getting snow today? The forecast called for snow by 9 and all we have seen here in Philly burbs is flurries! Ps. We have nothing in our fridge. Supermarket is two blocks away tho, so I store groceries there

And I thought milk and bread was a southern thing ... They really freak out down here with just a mention of snow ... Of course for some reason they need eggs here too ...
It's been snowing all day in Southern CT. Isn't supposed to get heavy til tonight. We had to make a grocery run, but for everything, because we're literally down to nothing. Would have had to do it snow or not, so I don't feel like "those people". Although DH did leave his wallet at the store so we're on our way back and praying it's there.
