  Dark chocolate cupcakes with a chocolate peppermint ganache frosting. (I don't have a specific cake recipe as i switch that up all the time. but for the frosting I start by basically using this truffle recipe:

  only adding a splash of whole milk to keep it soft while it chills, then whipping the truffle mix with powdered sugar and butter in my kitchen aid until it's the consistency of frosting I want and topping with extra andes pieces. SO AMAZING.

  I make DH chocolate Guinness cupcakes every year. The alcohol bakes off but they are nice and rich. Top with cream cheese frosting and crumbled bacon.

  Best app for any and all recipes is bigoven. I have used many many of their recipes, always a big hit! I even add my own to the app sometimes. (:
