Bi-Racial Babies?

Ours will be half Laotian and half Puerto Rican and hoping the baby will be tri-lingual.

Anyone having a bi-racial baby? I'm just curious and I love hearing about other people's cultures/ethnicity.

ME ME!! Half Rican, that would be me, and half Texan! well...if we wanna split hairs, 50% German, 12.5% Taino 12.5% French and 25% Spanish :-) i went on an Ancestry.com search cos i would like to show our baby someday what crazy mix created him/her :-)

I'm half Mexican and hubby is white. I'm sad baby is only gonna be a quarter Mexican! Still hope to teach her/him Spanish and about our culture!

Our baby will be 1/4 Hispanic. I'm caucasian (Irish, Italian, Austrian, French) and DH is 1/2 Irish, 1/4 Cuban and 1/4 Puerto Rican.

so many half Hispanic babies! WE ARE TAKING OVER THE WORLD!!! lol i am the first to infiltrate DH German gene pool, quite exciting! my ILs can't stop talking about their Caribbean grand baby, it is so foreign and exciting to them :-)

I have two adopted children. Bio mom is mostly African American (she says Black, but I don't want to offend anyone), but also has some Native American (I say Indian, because I'm NA and I don't care if someone calls me an Indian & most NA's that I've met could care less) and Bio dad is white (that's all he'd share)

My kids say they are half black half white... but all human, it's really cute. Since I am part Indian and part White (English/Dutch ancestry) and my husband is mostly German with touches of English & Irish ancestry, we've made it a point to make sure the kids are comfortable & used to being around black people & white people - (I would do that with my own child) - the kids have no problem asking questions and our area is pretty white anyways, so it's a little hard but we do have friends from all ethnic races. And like I said, I try to make sure they have their culture, but I also try to raise them color blind (basically color doesn't matter, it's what the person is inside that does)

DH is 50% Mexican and 50% Portuguese. I'm part black/white/Native American.

DD looks mostly Mexican and I suspect this baby will as well. (Dark hair, brown eyes, light brown skin) She really is too beautiful for her own good though!

I'm white and my husband is Syrian. He is American born but his mother is 100% Syrian and his dad is 50%, their genes are strong and family culture is very rich. I was shocked when DS came out blonde like me! I'm wondering if this baby will be dark like DH...

I'm all Caucasian and DH is half Puerto Rican and half German. Our son came out with black hair and darker skin. Now, he has blue eyes, light brown hair and lighter skin.

Sounds like we have some beautiful babies to be! DH and I are both white, so no mixed race, but he is Canadian so I think it's pretty cool that our baby gets to be a dual citizen.

I'm black and dh is white. I am a mix of all sorts - African American, Mexican, Native American, white. I call DH a viking with his Scandinavian roots.

DD looks a lot like dad with blue/gray eyes and lightish brown hair that is totally fro-tastic, but with loose curls. Can't wait to see what mix of features baby #2 will have.

DH and I will be having a little happa (Hawaiian for mixed race) of our own. I'm white and my husband is 3/4 Japanese, 1/4 Chinese, and a 1/4 Filipino with Hawaiian relatives. My LO is quite the mutt haha!!!

I am Mexican. My two kids from my ex have a zesty look to them, even though his background is Pennsylvania Dutch. I am even more excited to see this little one whose dad is Italian-American.

Another Mixed White-Hispanic baby here!

I am white (German ancestry) but he is half Hispanic and half White. This will be the first bi-racial baby in my family and I am excited for bucking that trend. I can't wait to see how the baby looks, I already have visions of big brown eyes and dark curly hair

My DH has two younger half sisters who's mother is white and oh yes they look Latino! The eldest of the two looks like Sara Ramirez from Grey's Anatomy.

It'll all work out well since our last name comes from the Filipino side...Rosario. Hahaha.

Holy crap! I didn't know there were so many half Hispanic and whites lol I'm so excited!!! I'm half Italian and half Puerto Rican and both parents are originally from their home countries.

My DW is African American so we got an AA donor to have our kids be a little more like us. So our kids are white black and Hispanic haha. Unfortunately, I don't know Spanish or Italian so our kids will start off with one language

Our son speaks English and Dutch so this one will be raised the same. However, he only has Dutch citizenship. I chose not to give him American one. I'll let him decide if he wants it before his 18th birthday.

I'm white and my DH is Hungarian. He has Greek and Asian background. He has beautiful Olive skin that is smooth and perfect. Hope that LO gets that trait for sure. I burn if I'm sitting by a window.

My husband is Indian (India) & I'm Welsh. We have two kids already and they are both whiter than we expected except they tan very well! My son is my husbands paler twin & my daughter is a darker version of me. So I'm not sure what baby 3 will look like!

There are going to be some beautiful babies! Of course, all the babies are going to be beautiful, but you know what I mean.

As for us, DH is 100% British and is still a British citizen. I am 75% German and 25% Welsh. So, our babies are very Caucasian. DH is dark ( dark skin, dark brown hair, brown eyes) and I am typical Northern European (blonde hair, fair skin, blue eyes). DS looks like me, which I found strange since I thought DH had the dominant traits. He does have some fair family members, so I'm sure he had some of those recessive traits.
