low hcg and slow rising

Hello all,
I've been TTC for almost 2 yrs and have done 4 IUI's and 1 IVF so far. I had 2 embryos transferred on Nov. 26th which was a 3rd day transfer.
On Dec. 6th, I got BFP, but my hcg was very low only at 19.3. On Dec. 10th, my hcg was 50 and on Dec. 12th, it was 90.
My doctor is now saying that I might have blighted ovum or maybe my embryos implanted in the tube.
Did anyone experience a low hcg level that rose slowly but ended up with a normal pregnancy?
I feel so frustrated and depressed...
