LO sleeping situation

So LO has been sleeping in our bed on my chest for the past week and a half(only way he would sleep!). I need some sleep and it worries DH so I tried to transition back to the bassinet but LO just wasn't having it.. So we tried the crib tonight. Well he's sleeping great! Me not so much.. I can't take my eyes off the monitor!!! I miss him.. I know it's what's best and I'll adjust but right now I just want to run in the nursery and hold him!!!

Wish me luck I can stop staring at the video monitor long enough to fall asleep..

We transitioned DS to his crib a week ago and it's been great! We all sleep better. He's even had a couple stretches when he slept 6 hours. It's hard not to stare at that monitor, I agree. He was a already too big for the bassinet and I'm not comfortable bringing him into bed at night. Napping during the day is a different story.

We've had LO in the crib since he got home andi have to say, I sleep well and so does he. I've never been able to sleep with my babies because they make so much noise. It's also hard to tell when they are just stirring or actually waking up to eat.

You all will think I'm crazy, but we ended up with the crib in our room for DD until she was about 6 months old. It just made me feel better to be able to roll over and look at her and see that she was alright.

My lo will be 5 weeks on Monday, still cosleeping in the recliner, I keep wanting to put him in the swing at night be I usually fall asleep while he nurses before he does. I'm patient, can't last forever, and I can get my snuggles in with the cutie now.

It went better than expected! I actually slept, real sleep for the first time since he was born. And he slept great! I wish the crib fit in our room! But it won't.. Luckily I have the video monitor!

Ah! Stinkbutt is about to be too long for his Moses basket (currently in the middle of our king sized bed). I will miss him! I love sleeping with my hand on his belly.

I guess I kind of miss my DH too. We rub our feet together at night to say hello since we have baby between us.

DD's crib is in our room, because she is too young to share the 2nd bed with DS yet (we only have a 2/2)

I love it, the "rooming-in" because all I need to do is look over and see how she is, and I could respond quickly. I also sleep better, knowing she is safe in her crib. In our bed, I worry how safe it is.

My LO won't sleep in the bassinet either! Sometimes in the swing but mostly he wants to sleep in mine or my husband's arms! I keep worrying about it but not sure how to solve it...

M hates sleeping in anything, I can maybe get 30 minutes. I sleep with her in the bed, sorry not sorry. We all sleep much better.
