    You ladies are the best.

    I was supposed to go in today, but I have a debilitating migraine so I called and explained that I would be in tomorrow. (It's over a 45 min drive each way)

    My RE just called. He says he agrees this sounds like an early loss. I am worried about our prognosis given this is our 2nd early loss and we used a 25y donors eggs and still had a loss.

    He told me he would order further testing, even immune testing because I insisted (I know he's not big into immune testing). I asked him if he was worried about our prognosis and he told me he's not, but if course we are.

    Is it better to find something and treat it or not find anything at all? I have no idea. I only know we are investing too much emotionally and financially to not know everything we are up against.

    Either way, my husband and I have decided to proceed with 1 more fresh DE/DS cycle. We have narrowed it down to 2 donors, both have made an amazing number of eggs the last cycles they did.

    I'm not trying to be greedy, but yes, I want a lot of embryos. I was disappointed we only got 4 last cycle, (had to do a day 3 transfer) given the fact that we used 2 donors. We still don't know why we've had 2 losses or if it will ever work. We need all of the chances we can get. Going the fresh route with a proven donor is more likely to give us more good quality embryos, right?

    I feel ya hon. Boy do I get your feelings right now. I am glad he agreed to more testing before you move forward! Also we are in the same boat, 1st Donor, was frozen eggs, hum ok so lets try fresh! Then fresh still BFN, the FET ended with MC. So many questions!! I am glad you guys are getting a plan in place and again (((HUGS)))) and a biggggg FU to IF. Yup. FU.

    KM - Big hugs! I hope you do get lots of embryos with your next cycle and that the donor you pick you feel great about. And I hope that if they do find something immunological, it's easy to treat.

    6/5/13 - Adopted four new embryos that had been frozen for seven years!      
    9/12/13 - DEmbryo FET #2. Thawed and transferred two beautiful blasts
    9/17/13 - BFP @ 5dp6dt! EDD 05/31/14
     9/29/13 - m/c @ 5w1d. :(

    11/19/13 - DEmbryo FET #3. Thawed and transferred one blast from each batch. Wow!
     11/23/13 - BFP @ 4dp6dt! EDD 8/7/13
    Beta #1 @ 13dp6dt - 522  Beta #2 @ 16dp6dt - 1373 
    6w5d ultrasound showed one perfect baby with a beautiful heartbeat of 134bpm!

    Hugs. It all sucks. Immune issues are such a hard fight and its worse since its not mainstream and so many RE's say its hogwash. I know my current RE doesn't believe. Will you use the same male donor or change that as well?

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    Yes... This all sucks.

    I'm glad he's still going to do the immune testing despite his personal thoughts on the topic.. I think if anything points to an immune issue I will get a 2nd opinion through an immunology specialist?

    I honestly don't sense this is it, but need to rule it out.
    I guess I have no choice but to wait and see if anything comes up.

    We have decided to switch sperm donors as well. Even though the sperm donor was proven, I just feel we need to change everything.

    I don't have anymore ideas at this point. I don't even know if I'm making any sense at all.

    What were the grades of the embryos you transferred the last two times? Why a day 3 transfer? Was the quality poor or just because you didn't have a lot? I'd def push to a day 5 next time to see what blast stage you can get to.

    We had to do a 3 day transfer because out of our 10 embryos, only 2 were 8 cells. They were graded A and B and resulted in bfn.

    The 2 we had left were frozen on day 6 and were also graded A and B, this was our most recent chemical.

    Unfortunately, we have no input as to what day the transfer is done, it's upto the embryologists. I did express that I was very disappointed that we had to do a 3dt with 2 donors.
