swing napper

So my daughter has been taking naps in her swing since as long as she could. She is now 5 1/2 months old and I am curious if we should try and get her to sleep in her crib (where its quite) or in a pack n play (where her swing as been) - with us (the tv or radio is usually on when she naps during the day.

She sleeps good at night. except for one feeding and crying when she spits out her paci.

- Where does your baby take naps?

- How do you put them down for naps?

- Is there scheduled nap times or whenever baby gets tired?

    Me, DH or the swing. She naps every 2-3 hours but the times and duration are always different. 3 naps a day though normally around half an hour each.

    Crib...
    When it is nap time, usually around 10 am and then again at around 3pm.
    We try for that schedule. Some days it works some days it doesn't.
    I lay her down in the crib and I have learned her sleep cues.

    He will only nap in the swing. Sometimes I put him in it drowsy, sometimes I transfer him after he's fallen asleep on me. No schedule here. I'm getting nervous because he's so close to the 25lb weight limit, I don't know what we'll do for naps when he reaches it. (At night he sleeps in his crib.)

    This exactly I have just given in and let go of doing anything around the house. I really love it except if I need to get ready to go somewhere.

    Naps in her crib. We go hang out with the white noise a bit and I put her down awake. She is typically awake 2-2.5 hrs between nap - starts getting tired fussy around the 2 hr mark. Napping 3x a day but the last one is often short. The first 2 are typically 1-2 hrs long.

    She rarely naps at daycare. I think it's because I nurse her to sleep. On weekends she naps in her crib in the morning around 11 and again around 4. Sometimes she'll sleep for 2 hours or more. When she is sleepy she gets fussy. I nurse her for 5 minutes or until she goes to sleep. Then I put her in the crib. If DH puts her down without me sometimes he rocks her to sleep. Sometimes be puts her down and she cries for a few minutes then glass asleep.
