HSG Test Today

I am super excited to report that my uterus looks normal, and my tubes were totally clear! The test wasn't nearly as painful as I expected - I've had worse period cramping. I have been leaking for the last couple hours, but they tell me this is normal. I have to give major, major props to my RE who was so so sweet and gentle and encouraging during the procedure. I was also able to watch on the monitors, and it was such a sweet experience. I almost cried! I was like, "THAT is MY uterus!" Haha - the things you feel on Valium! 

The Fella's semen analysis was earlier this morning, so we are waiting those test results. We meet again with the RE next Thursday, so we should have a plan of action by then! 

I'm still a little "drunk" on the valium, but just broke my paleo diet to have some delicious cheese, crackers, and caramel chocolate to treat myself.  Overall, I am feeling very satisfied with the results as my 3-Day FSH went up to 12 (almost double what it was last year). Excited to hear the RE's plan of action for us next week, and feeling so thankful for at least one really positive result! Yay!

    That's great...:-) :-) hope your other results are great...posted about my blood work...FSH was 7 the nurse said was normal ...but is it good? I go for hsg tomorrow:-) :-) good luck to us in 2014!!!:-)

    Yea for clear Ute's! AT least that is one thing to check off the worrry list. Good Luck THursday let us know how things go,

    My Ovulation Chart


    Me: 41 DH: 46. We are TTC our 1st, started July '11,
    3 cycles clomid with Ob,
    1 cycle Tamoxifen with Ob,
    Diagnosed PCOS 11/5/12
    clomid, trigger & timed bd 12/12 BFN
    1st clomid IUI 1/4/13 BFN.
    2nd clomid IUI 2/13 cancelled didn't respond to clomid.
    3/15/13 scheduled laparoscopy & on bcp.

    May 10 IUI from injectibles - BFN 

    May 22 done with interventions it will either happen or it won't. 

    February 2014 No longer actively trying, but not preventing. 

    SURPISE BFP 4/2/2015!!!!!!!!!!

    Miscarriage 4/23/15

    Thanks, HeathernSteven! I will definitely keep y'all updated. 

    Samuelismomma - I think 7 is very normal for FSH! Did they check your AMH? Yay! Good luck to all of us! :):)

    Lena76 - I am anxiously awaiting the S/A results. If they are good, I will have so much more hope. :)

    Oh! Samuelismomma - I don't know that there is scientific evidence to back this up, but I've been reading about many women who have their HSG tests find it easier to become pregnant. It's like the ute and tubes just get washed out and somehow that helps. We were going to take a break this cycle, to prepare for treatment in early January (next cycle), but I think we're going to go ahead and try this cycle - just in case. ;)

    My re told me that, one reason he done it:-) he said increases fertility for 3 month:-) would be awesome for Dec to be our month!!!!:-)

    Yay for a great report! Valium is the best :)

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!
