Dumb question about holiday cards

This is the first year my husband and I are sending holiday cards, and we are using them as our pregnancy announcement. Is it enough to just send the personalized photo card (it is one-sidedd) or should we be handwriting messages on all of them? I have a large family, and we will be sending more than 50 cards. If it was fewer, I'd definitely try to include a message.

Thoughts? Is it terrible if I just want to skip the sign, just seal and deliver?

    We just did the personalized photo card so I didn't have to worry about writing personalized messages...just addressing them all was enough work!
