The good news is he looks great. They estimate his weight to be around 5 lbs 13 oz. I had a feeling he was bigger than his brothers and I was right. DS2 was born after my due date and only weighed 6 lb 14 oz! Fluid looks good. They didn't tell me yet if my placenta was covering my C-section scar (which is why I went in) but I should know in a couple of days.
So-so news - after being vertex for weeks he has apparently flipped and is oblique/transverse with his head nestled into my right side. So I'm going to be on spinningbabies.com trying to get him to flip and I made an appointment with a chiro who is certified in Webster technique for next week. I'm also going to talk to my OB at my appointment about a version. Fun.
But...he's healthy, moving, doing great and I am especially thankful for that today...I'm still in shock over my BFF's loss at 27 weeks.

I also went to the chiro today, and talked to her. She sounded almost too excited to try the Webster method on me, lol! It sounds more pleasant than a version (which I've had, successfully).
Good luck!
