I'm new to this board and I don't understand what all these abbreviations for everything means. Ex: what does DH,FFFC,HDBD,DS1,PIP,UO mean?! There are several more I'm not sure of so if you all wanna just fill me in so I can understand what everyone is saying id appreciate it so much!

IASFC= I am so freakin confused

    I'm pretty new here too.  I usually google them when I can't figure them out LOL.  I think there is a thread explaining all of them, but when people link to it, my computer never takes me there.  So here are the ones I know.

    DH - dear husband

    FFFC - flame free friday confessions

    HDBD - hump day bump day, or hump day baby day now that we all have babies and not bumps

    DS1 - dear son 1

    PIP- picture in post

    UO - unpopular opinion

    Also when I try to change my avatar pic or username it doesn't save? Is there a trick to fixing this..

    No problem! I'm not sure about the avatar.  I thought changing it was kind of confusing, and I'm not sure if I remember step by step how to explain it.  Sorry!

    To add to this because I'm often confused too, how do you even do a siggy? I tried but it never stays. Is there a link to directions?

    If you are mobile, you won't see them.  @Loppy19 had a post waaaaay back when the format switched that explained how to do it.  Maybe she will repost it for you.  :)  Or, I believe on the "trying to get pregnant" board there is a post that tells you how to change your avatar and siggy.

    Copy & Paste is not working for my Reply area (is this just happening for me?)

    But the Trying To Get Pregnant board has a great blog (Under the "Are you a newbie?" post) that has all the abbreviations (I know I royally messed that word up).

    @HBirdie - I JUST figured out that it actually now appears in all my past posts too so I don't blame ya. Now if only i knew had to be extra fancy and add gifs to my siggy like some people... :)

    renee6465 - clearly! :) Really all it is is following the link that Princess Vespa did and then upload a picture you want at tinypic.com, grab the URL for "message boards" once it's uploaded and put in the html thingy for the picture box (to the left of the link box). And voila! You got a siggy.

    Next challenge: tickers!
