  I did look at that calculator which is why I got the idea that she was over feeding her so much..she is still eating the same on the weekend but not nearly as much in the evenings now...and she seems to be constantly straining and pulling at her tummy

  She is probably overfeeding, as the daily average is 25oz. It is easy to overfeed a baby, so she may not even realize it or think she's doing it. I'm not back at work yet, but one suggestion I made to my mom was to start with 3.5-4oz in the bottle and feed that (paced feed). If she still seems hungry, burp/play/distract for 10-15min (to give the food a chance to set in), then feed another ounce or so if she is still hungry. Maybe try that?

  I think this is all good advice. My mil also watches my son who is 3 months next week for about the same amount of time. He only eats abouts 10-12 oz during that time, so that does sound like quite a bit to me. Of course all babies are different though. If you really want her to stop feeding him as much, you could just send fewer oz. with him.

Fat babies = healthy babies, its pretty hard for a baby this age to be too fat, so don't worry about it unless your pediatrician has concerns. It will melt away once she starts running around

  This happened with my daycare provider as well. She was feeding him 4 oz every 2 hours. I couldn't keep up! After that first week, I pumped & gave him bottles all weekend to see if he actually needed that much. If he fussed, I would offer the pacifier or walk around w him, etc. and he would be fine. He lasted 3-4 hours for me. On Monday, I told her how long he was lasting for me and to please try to other ways to calm him, such as the pacifier. It worked and now he has three 4oz bottles throughout that time.
