Morning Nap

Are lots of August kiddos still taking them? We are still going strong with 2 naps (although the morning one is getting shorter). All of my friends with kids similar in age have already dropped their morning nap. I enjoy the extra break some days but it's also kind of a pain. Has most of this board dropped to one nap too?

The last time I asked, it seemed like most of the babies on this board were down to one nap. I think we're an outlier. DD still naps from 9-10 am and 1-3 pm(ish) most days. We did have to start waking her from her morning nap at 10 am though, so that she would take her afternoon nap. I really like having the downtime so I'm going to keep it going as long as it seems to work

I'm at work during the week but this is also the schedule that our in-home daycare provider uses for her.

DS is still taking 2 naps at daycare but only 1 more me on the weekends

Most weekends these days we have two two hour naps. I KNOW! It's awesome. Now, I've jinxed myself.

Generally it's 9-11, 2-4. But he only takes one on weekdays at daycare.

We only do one 2-3h nap in the afternoon. We transitioned about a month ago

L has been on a one, mid-day nap schedule since 12 mo. I like it because it gives us several hours in the morning to run errands (like yesterday, we were Christmas shopping from about 9:30-11:30am, came home for lunch and 2 hr nap, then back out shopping for another hour or 2.)

We are down to one nap but that was really the doing of our nanny. We do a nanny-share with an 20-month old and a 3-month old so I think the nanny wanted to get both of the older girls on the same schedule. I think DD would take 2 naps if she was not moved to this schedule.

One nap here. I wish two naps but he only naps about 1.5-2 hours in the afternoon. Daycare does a 1pm nap but he's been with dh all week and he's been going down between 11:30-12. I think that works better for him really. Now if only he consistenty napped for 2 hours or 3 that would be amazing!!!!

Looks like DS has transitioned himself to 1 nap this week. He has just been talking to himself for about 30 min for his morning nap and NOT falling asleep. His afternoon nap is only 1.5 hours....I would love it if it was 2-3 hours! We recently ditched the pacifier, so this could have something to do with the off nap schedule.
