On today's episode of "I don't give a flying fuck" we feature the obnoxious co-worker who gives unwanted advice and sticks to it like it's the Bible.
Co-Worker: "It's cold but it's such a glorious day for a walk."
Me: "That's nice." *while thinking "All I want for Christmas is to punch this annoying bitch in the face"*
Co-Worker: "Do you take walks?"
Me: "Probably not as often as I could."
Co-Worker: "Well you need to. If you don't take walks you will get blood clots in your legs."
Yes, because every pregnant person ever, who hasn't gone on walks dedicated to walking, has developed blood clots in her legs. GTFO. Also, no, I'm not going to go walk on the icy sidewalks of the city of STL on my lunch break when it's 10 degrees and risk breaking my ass and hurting my baby when I fall on the ground.
What do you not give a FF about today?
Re: On today's episode of IDGAFF
I also get the "you shouldn't be shovelling" comments all of the time. Ummm unless youre going to offer to do it for me free then Idgff!!!

And what's wrong with shoveling snow? I've been doing that and scraping off DH's car because he leaves about 30 min earlier than me for work. It's how I get my my exercise these days, since it is way to cold to go for a walk.
I don't need any DVDs or other crap. What I need is the shitload of baby gear we are registered for!
He's also the one who asked "oh was it because of the baby?" when I was out sick with the stomach virus that went through my entire family.
My Dad, of all people INSISTING that I breastfeed! My Mom couldn't breastfeed us, we turned out fine. So I don't know why he's concerned. He wasn't even breastfed! Plus, I'm constantly telling people that I haven't even made up my mind yet!
Every single time I hear baby's heartbeat, and tell my Mom what it was, she ALWAYS says "How do you know that's normal?" Um, cause my doctor told me so! Baby's beats have been around 164-174 bpm. My Mom was the one who told me that a baby's heart beat is fast and yet somehow thinks that my baby's rate is just way too fast!
I'm pregnant for fuck's sake! I love the woman but she is obsessed with my weight and how "unhealthy it is", even though I do 5Ks and work out and other than an increase in carbs, stuck to a predominantly balanced, organic diet!
Sometimes I just want to tell my gram to shove it!
