So I'm going to be making my baby registry here soon and we have yet to get our crib and glider; I know we're slacking. But would it be tacky to put it on our registry since the store I'm registering at sells it. Now I don't expect anyone to actually buy it, but hey you never know if a couple people want to go in on a gift or something. So what's your ladies opinion on putting them on the list. Thanks
Re: Is it tacky..... Baby registry
Put it on. A registry is simple a list of things you would like, not a demand that people buy them. Like you said, you never know who might go in together and buy a big gift....and if you're like me, I looked at so many cribs I went blind. If I didn't put it on my registry, I probably wouldn't be sure of the one I picked.
I doubt people would do this with a crib, but anything you have on your registry can be bought with the completion coupon at the end, so it makes sense to have it on there. I think it's only tacky is if the ONLY things you have on your registry are super pricey things (like all furniture plus stuff like $100 picture frames, keepsake rattles, etc)

I realize I may not have the crib and all that by the time he is here, but honestly he won't be using it for a while anyways so that doesn't concern me to much. But thanks for the heads up!
