So AF showed today and man, is it bad- but to be expected after FET.
Hubs decided he does not want to wait to do surrogacy as it could be two years before we get back on track for having our own kids. So we are looking into financing a fresh cycle. Problem is we know we will have eggs to freeze and having to do ICSI, plus our history with fresh cycles and cycles in general, by time we have our positive we could be on second or third FET. I'm the one that was hesitant about this past FET, I wanted to go straight to fresh cycling right away bc of our finances to use the money on fresh and better chances in long run. That shipped obviously sailed and sank. So they have a delivery promise that allows us up to 6 fresh cycles and any and all FETs and cost associated, including ICSI, until we have baby born 24 weeks or older. OR we do single fresh cycle and pay for frozen embryo storage set up and monthly storage and ICSI on top of that? If history repeats itself and we didn't do the delivery promise, we are looking at what would have been the same cost to have done it- however if we get lucky we could be potentially blowing a lot of money. How are any of us still sane going through this crap?!?!?!?!?!
Anyway, advice welcome, I'm thinking delivery promise just because I always wear my seatbelt and use my turn signals just incase type person, but if anyone has and thing they could offer, let me know!!! Also, if anyone has any tips or info about fertility loans- I'd be very appreciative!!!
Doctor says last cycle everything but the egg taking went perfectly, and looking at my films from 2010 to September 2013 my ovaries hasn't aged and all my hormone levels were consistent- so he wasn't worried about my age being an issue for changing anything if that makes a difference for opinions. Hubs apparently back in 2010 when he made his contribution had only 600,000 little guys and after varicocele repair in Feb 2011, a year later was up to a million, not great improvement, but a touch better and no worse at least!
Re: Plan of Action- anyone have good loan recommendations for fertility?

MrsCastillo - for fresh with frozen set up for extra eggs and ICSI it would be about 10k (and that is after 25% military discount), if that fails, about 6k for FET cycle (no military discount of FET). Then we are just 2k off the delivery promise. Delivery promise we only get a 5% discount off which brings us to within 1,000 of the individuals but with the reassurance if still having more chances if it fails.
We just lost the last what if game. Here we are again.

I am 1 million percent an outsider on this topic as IVF/ICSI is not something DH and I have been ready to consider because of DS's autism and the cost, but based on the info above I think I would take the delivery promise. This is a very tough decision, emotionally and financially. Did you get a mega millions ticket?
If I were in your shoes, I think I would go with the delivery promise because I'm rather risk averse and because I think the peace of mind aspect would help with anxiety of whether the next cycle is going to take or not. And if you get pregnant first shot and have a 24 week+ baby, the wasted money will still weigh less on your mind because you have a baby to hold at the end of it. An empty ute after a failed cycle without the delivery promise would be much harder for me to swallow than wasted money on a guantaree that wasn't necessary since I got successfully knocked up the first time.
