My BFF sent me an article yesterday on baby sleep (she has a 5 month old DS), and it mentions that the poorest sleepers in this study tended to be breastfed boys. DD wasn't a fantastic sleeper, but DS has definitely been worse (still BFs once a night). Does that seem true to anyone else?
It makes me feel a little better about things with DS...maybe it isn't anything that I'm doing wrong...
Here is the link (though the article is mostly about CIO):

Re: Did you BF a boy?
now please excuse me while i take a brief nap at my desk. @_@
I think it's more about the individual than how he or she is fed.
Stupid bump ate my reply...so let's try again...
I do think it definitely depends on the individual. They didn't claim all BF'd babies were bad sleepers, just that the bad sleepers tended to be boys and tended to be BF'ed. I was curious if A12's experience matched the study findings.
And I did think FF babies tended to sleep a little longer since formula takes longer to digest, but maybe I'm wrong on that.
Anyway, my takeaway from it was to be glad that I'm not alone...that many babies in DS's category (gender/feeding) had similar sleep issues.

I knew it would vary from baby to baby, I was just curious if our experience matched the tendency in their study.
