How many naps is your LO taking?

I was wondering how many naps your LO is taking now?

My DD is currently taking 2 naps per day. After getting up at 7am, she takes a morning nap for an hour around 10-11am, then another nap in the afternoon around 3-5pm. She goes to bed at 9pm. When she gets cranky or give me blank stares, I know she's tired and will put her down. When do they transition to one nap per day?

DD has been taking 1 nap/day at daycare (during the week) since October, but just moved to 1 nap/day at home (on the weekends) this past weekend. We moved her because her pm nap was getting too close to bedtime.

I think it is usually between 15-18 months old on average - but as we are all well aware, each kid is different.

Wesley started doing 1 nap around 10-11 months for about a month, and then went back to 2 naps (sometimes 1) until 12-13 months. He usually gets up around 8:30-9 and takes a nap from 2-5ish. Bedtime is around 9:30.

DD still takes 2 naps a day most days, similar to yours...but once in a while if she sleeps in late or we have plans that conflict with her nap, she'll take one in the middle of the day. I've thought she was ready to transition several times now but she still seems to need 2 most days. I think most kids this age are down to 1 nap a day, but I am enjoying the 2 naps while it lasts!

We've been on one a day since she was about 12 months I think... she gets really tired around 10am still, but we rock and sing and give her a sippy of milk, and she perks up enough to get through lunch. She goes down for her nap around 1pm. If we still gave her the early morning nap, she'd just skip the second one, so that's what made us transition to one in the middle of the day.

Dex takes 2 naps a day and goes to bed at 730-8pm. But today he took a 3.5 hour nap in the middle of the day so i'm thinking today is just a 1 nap day.

1 right after an early lunch. At daycare he sleeps 2-2.5 hours and at home he sleeps 3.5 hours. He goes to bed between 7 and 8, usually right at 7:30.

I've been trying to transition Colby to 1 nap a day for over a month and it isn't going very well. I feel like such a bad mom for trying to encourage this but the 2 Naps a day was killing me. Now I don't know what to do

During the week he only takes one nap at daycare after lunch that lasts for 2-2.5 hours. He is a complete asshole at night because he is so exhausted.

On the weekends he takes 2 naps. One at 9ish for ~3 hours and one around 3 for about ~2 hours.

My LO has always been a short napper. We only got 30 minutes at a time from about 2-9 months, so while an hour might seem short to others, it makes me happy!

ETA we've had three or four one nap days in the last month or so. I'm thinking the transition isn't too far off...bummer.

N just switched (himself) to one nap. Usually naps around 11ish.

We are up by 7am and bedtime is 8:30pm

DS has been down to 1 nap a day since he was about 6 months old. No joke. He just decided one day he wasn't napping more than once. Now he gets up between 7/8am and goes down for his nap 4 hours later. It was 2 hours but can vary greatly from 1-3 hours (2 being the norm.) He's in bed around 8pm.

We moved to 1 when he started half-day daycare, he's in "school" from 9-12.

He's usually up around 7:30 and naps at about 12:30-2. He's been stretching naps to 3 this past week so I'm hoping that pattern continues. Bedtime is around 7.

We do 2 on the days she's home which is 4 days a week and then she only takes one on Daycare days. I wish it was one long one only all the time. Like from 12-2:30 or something would be awesome.

We are still on two. She wakes up between 8:30 and 9 and takes her first nap at 11am and her second at 3:45. Both of them last between 1-1.5 hours each, every once in a while one will be longer, but then the other is usually shorter. She goes to be between 8-8:30pm.

We have been at one nap since September. It's usually between 12 and 1 and lots a couple hours.

one nap. I think the number of naps depends on how much sleep each LO gets at nighttime too. DD sleeps from 7 pm to 7 am every night and then naps from 12 - 2 every day at daycare. She gets a total of 14 hours of sleep.

She just transitioned to 1 nap per day, sadly. She's napping roughly 11a -12:30p. Sucks arse.

Generally one nap that starts between 3 and 4 PM. It lasts an hour or two. She goes to bed at 8 PM. On occasion she'll take a "nap" in the morning after she wakes up, but that's just her taking a bottle and nodding back off to sleep.

He gets up around 6:30 and then goes down for a nap between 9-9:30 for about an hour and then goes down again around 1:30-2 for an hour and a half. I'm not transitioning to 1 nap yet. He needs both.

DD started taking 1 at 11 months but then I realized we were dealing with a regression and she wasn't actually ready. She went back to 2 and then at 14 months officially went to 1. She's up at 8am, naps from 12-2 or 3 and then bed at 7:30. I think there's a wide range of when kids go to 1 nap. Anywhere from 10 months to 18 or even 24 months.

We are down to 1 nap. She napped for 30 min in the morning yesterday on the way home from the store and wouldn't nap in the afternoon. So I keep her up til 1 and put her down.

We have been at one nap since 9-10 months I think. She goes down around 12:00 and will sleep for around two hours. We transitioned to one nap because she wouldn't fall asleep or stay asleep when I put her down for her morning nap. I kept pushing it back until it became impossible to fit two naps in.
