Thanks, Babies R Us!

After all the hype about the big Babies R Us Sale- I went online to see. A 40$ dresser to match C's crib, that was originally 450$- great! I ordered it, and an hour later was cancelled by Babies R Us- they told me it was "the wrong price", Really?!? Then why advertise it? You suck. 

Anyone else having problems with Babies R Us/Toys R Us?

    That recently happened on Walmart.com, they had treadmills for like $16 or something. They didn't honor those prices either.

    I think that sucks. It's their mistake and it's damn sure not going to bankrupt them to honor it.

    We were at babies r us last weekend and got a sit and stand thingy for DS for Xmas.  There were a bunch of print outs for the brand the toy was that said all of said brand (can not think of it right now) 39.99 was now $29.99. BUT they had the print out right over top of the price tag where the toy we got was.  Our toy was 60.  We ended up getting the 29.99 price, but the manager guy proceeded to take down the rest of the print outs because they were not on the right shelf.

    I work retail and you honor the price that you have displayed.  It's not the customers fault you didn't make sure your pricing was correct.

    It is always a nightmare when we go in there.  Not sure why we still shop there.

    I hate Babies R Us and Toys R Us. But that said, this was one of my UO's a while back. I think it's ridiculous to expect online merchants to honor these price errors that get advertised all over the web when people discover them. How many thousands of people tried to take advantage of that Walmart glitch within an hour. People KNEW it was a mistake. When it seems like a legit sale, fine. But when it's obviously an error, that's different.

    I was made at Toys R Us the other week bc they had signs up everywhere saying buy one get one half off on barbies and disney princess barbies.. I grabbed two for my niece one for her Xmas present and one to save for her bday..I get up there and they say to me oh no that was a black friday sale um no there are signs everywhere and so I go get one of the signs and then they are like no its because one is barbie and one is disney princess yet both are on sale for that price. Just so dumb..why should it matter.

    Get this, the first time I talked to them, they said it was the wrong price. I complained on their facebook and this is what they said:
    " Hi Rachel. We are sorry for any miscommunication regarding this offer. This was a special clearance event with limited quantities and items did vary by store based on any remaining stock available for clearance pricing."

    Thats not the same as "wrong price"
