Baby carriers for more than 1

I did have a Baby Bjorn with DD, but she was severely colicky and hated it.  I wound up carrying her for 2 months.  Now she hates her playpens and just wants to run around everywhere.  Bad for 13 months.  Learned my lesson and will put babies down when they are calm, but would like an option to carry more than one.  Understand I can't carry all 3, but what works for 2?  Thanks

I didn't carry mine both at the same time when they were newborns, but had a k'tan that they both loved.  If you are comfortable wrapping, there are probably more options available if you want to tandem then as newborns.  Now that they are bigger, I tandem them in SSCs.  One is a ergo and the other is the Boba 3G.  The thing I love about the Boba is that my girl (weight wise) still would need an infant insert in the ergo.  The Boba has a snap down feature instead of requiring an insert.  Right now I generally put my boy on my back in the Ergo and my girl on my front in the Boba.

  • There are a few different twin carriers (similar to Ergos) out there. They can be worn one on the back, the other on the front, or sometimes zip together to make a double front carrier or can be used as a single carrier if desired.

Hilarious!!  I have two Moby wraps and 2 Bjorns.  Hopefully something out of the combo works.

Ditto, forgot to mention this.  We got two carriers (but you can't wear two at a time) one for DH and one for me when we are together

  • Not there yet, but a friend wears a Moby and carries both at the same time when really little. She said the trick was to swaddle each individually before putting them in the Moby. Worth a try?
