Travel Suggestions

DH and I are wanting to plan a short trip probably for late February or March for about 4-5 days. We're wanting to fit in one last vacation without having kiddo to consider when planning. Does anyone have some suggestions for places that would be good to go while pregnant? We live pretty much in the middle of the US, so anything in, or close to, the continental US is up for consideration. We had Europe vacation plans for 2014 year were tabled once we got the BFP, so I'm trying to find a consolation prize location just to take care of my constant travel itch. Most of our traveling ends up revolving around restaurant and wine choices/going out late night, or end up with miles and miles of walking, so I'm having a harder time thinking outside of our norm.

I would take a cruise! Lots of food options and nightly entertainment. Most cruises dock for a day or two so if you wanted to get some walking/sightseeing in you could. Did I mention all the food?

We are taking a trip in March-April out to Washington state for our baby moon. Doing some sight seeing in Montana on our way out there as well as home!

We went to Vegas when I was just over 20 weeks during my first pregnancy. It's actually a great place to go when you are pregnant. Lots of cool shows and great restaurants. I ate at two buffets in one day and didn't feel bad about it because I was pregnant. And there are bathrooms everywhere! If you go during the week and rent a car, it is pretty easy to get to different ends of the strip and all the casinos have free parking.

We did Hawaii for a baby moon during my first pregnancy and it was awesome. Beautiful, easy, lots to do.

You can't go wrong with Hawaii!! Honolulu/Oahu if it's your first time, just because there's much more to do as far as night life.
Maui for the romance factor, or Kauai if you guys are more outdoorsy.
Plus, you never have to worry if the weather will be good or not. It's always good, even if it rains!

I did Boston for our babymoon/anniversary and it was amazing. We caught a game and did a tour of Fenway (which was awesome since we are Sox fans), comedy show, aquarium when it was raining, tour of Sam Adams Brewery, GORGEOUS city with tons to do. The best part was the food. Pizza Regina's, Mike's Pastry, Lobster Rolls, Chowda

It was awesome.

If it were me, I'd head somewhere warm like the Bahamas or whatever along those lines is doable for you. Honestly late in my last pregnancy the best place to be was in the water; that buoyancy really helps a pregnant lady's aches and pains. Plus everyone thinks pregnant ladies in swimsuit look awesome so you can be totally un-body-concious on the beach! Granted you'd have to do virgin daiquiris but still sounds great to me!

I'm going to Hawaii in January, but then we were planning on that from before we got pregnant. I plan on enjoying it, though I'm hoping I won't be having to deal with fun nausea.
