Yum! Thanks for the recommendation. This year I need to ditch the more complicated stuff I've made in the past and stick to the simple (but yummy!) stuff
This is my friend's blog and all of her stuff is super delicious. The peanut butter truffles are also great- I made them for Thanksgiving this year.
I also always make candy cane cookies for DH- they are his favorite. Basically, sugar cookie dough w/mint extract added and divided in two- one you add red food coloring. Then you twist plain and red dough into candy canes.

Oooh, I love shortbread! I always make a toffee shortbread with a dark chocolate drizzle. Shortbread always impresses but is super easy to make!
Those truffles sound SO good, too. I will be bookmarking that recipe for sure.
I've been craving PB cookies, so I will bake a batch tonight I think. I do a lot of baking, nothing too fancy, though. DH still eats milk and cookies every night, and it's cheaper to bake them than buy them, lol!
