Boo has discovered her hands this week - she's pretty jazzed about that fact.
She's also pretty stoked about how well they fit in her mouth and help her go to sleep. She does take pacifiers, but if it falls out, she's perfectly content with sucking on her hand/thumb. I know as they grow older, it becomes a habit that will need to be broken, but I really can't see a way of changing this habit at this age.
Thoughts? Others in the same boat?

Re: thumb/hand sucking
We've come across this issue the last couple of weeks as well. Sometimes she tries to shove both hands in her mouth at the same time. And one time she put her fingers so far into her mouth she started gagging.
I try to remove her hand and replace it with the pacifier when I notice she's doing it, but sometimes she does it in the car and I can't stop her.
LO then (2 days) and now (1 year)
For those of you who do have your lo sucking their hands/thumbs, does your child do it with both hands or just one? My dd only brings her right hand to her mouth, but I know she's too young to really have a left or right hand preference. Makes me a little worried. She still likes to keep her hands in a fist too, more often than not.
