Lump not a clogged duct...

So I had what I thought was an odd feeling blocked duct about the size of a large grape that just wouldn't go away after a few weeks. I saw the OB today and she said it really didn't seem like a blocked duct and more or a mass in the tissue and I need an ultrasound. I go on Friday morning to see what it is. To make matters a little more unsettling, the nipple on this breast spontaneously went innie about 6 or 7 years ago and my doc wasn't pleased that it hadn't been investigated then. But it's not like there was a lump there until recently so I'm choosing to believe they are unrelated. Any stories about how this type of thing just turned out to be a pesky cyst or something for them would be very welcome! I'm sure it's nothing, at least not with my clean family history, right?

I hope it's nothing it really press your doctor to get it looked at ASAP. My best friend had a lump when she was nursing this past summer. Her ob contributed it to nursing. About a month later she noticed a lymph node was very swollen so she went back. Turned out she had breast cancer. It was the aggressive kind and it ended up not only being in her lymph nodes, breast but also liver. She's received chemo every week. It's stage 4. She has ZERO family history. They did the BRCA testing and it came back negative.

FX it's nothing! I had my first lump investigated at age 16, turns out I have just have lots of cysts in my boobs.

Thank you everyone. I think it's a really slim chance of it being anything scary, but I'm glad it's getting looked at all the same. I think DH is more worried than I am. I would probably be the same way though. I will keep you posted on Friday if they tell me something right then and there, which I am hoping for. I really appreciate the good vibes ladies, I'm sending them directly to my boobs like dollar bills at a strip club!
