Layering? Brrr...it's cold OUTSIDE

I know this has been brought up before in another thread, but my question is .. Do you think it's necessary to layer onesies on LO during the winter when they're going to be in a heated house all day? I just don't see how it matters what the weather is outside if LO is inside? Maybe I'm being naïve ... are you layering?

Nah. I if I'm comfortable in the house in shorts, he's in a onesie. Usually it's a onesie and pants. I'll put a long sleeved onesie or shirt w/a jacket if we're going outside.

When we go back east, he just wears a long sleeved onesie, pants, and socks inside. He appears to be comfortable. If the house is at a good temperature, I don't think you need to layer. :-)

Nope. if its cold out, shes in a long sleeve onesie, pants and socks.

I always layer a long sleeve onesie under whatever she's wearing, but our house is pretty cool.

I didn't layer with DD1, but she was older by wintertime. And our old house wasn't as old/cold as this place. That and she was a freaking heater. (Still is!)

When we have our heater on we don't layer, she'll just wear a onesie and her pjs over it or just pants .

Thanks for the feedback, ladies! The grandmas kept badgering me about it... And I was starting to doubt myself.. But I agree .. I dress him as I dress myself .. I think if it was up to LO he'd be naked anyhow ;-)
