update on my surgery

Thank you all so, much for your thoughts and prayers! My surgery was quick and it wemt very well. Before I went to the OR they had a lot of trouble finding a vein for the IV so I have 7 pretty large bruises all over my arms now. After I woke up I was in a lot of pain! My head still hurts pretty bad and I keep getting waves of nausea, but it's not nearly as bad as I thought, and I only have 8 staples in the side of my head.

I wanted to see the tumor after they removed it, but the surgeon said the drill broke it up too much. He said it looks benign, but they're sending it for tests just in case. 

Here is a picture of Charlie visiting me a few hours ago. Hopefully it's not way too big.
