What was/is your favorite part about being pregnant?

So, being on this board, I've read so many posts about the negative side of pregnancy (which is quite understandable because being pregnant is no picnic lol) but I'm curious, if you've been pregnant before, what was your favorite part of the pregnancy? If this is your first, what are you looking forward to in your pregnancy if you haven't already got a favorite part?

I'm one of the so called "crazy" women who loves being pregnant lol yea, I've got a massive load of gas that offends my friends and family, yes, I'm eating my way across Philadelphia and yes, my boobs feel like they're about to fall off. However, knowing I'm carrying a baby just tickles my fancy. I so look forward to feeling the baby kick for the first time. It's kind of an eye opening moment for me every time that reassures me that this is really happening.

I guess feeling the baby move, although even that is painful at the end of 3rd tri. I am one of those miserable when pregnant people though. If I could skip the 9 months of pregnancy and just get my baby that'd be great.

I LOVED being able to feel the baby move, and generally loved pregnancy in overall

but I also love being able to eat as many carbs as I want with no guilt, even after birth with bfing

I liked feeling the baby move. I had a difficult pregnancy though and didn't really enjoy being pregnant. I'm hoping for better this time, but the first trimester sucks and I'm just looking forward to this part being done at this point.

Looking forward to baby movement, and I'm just happy to be pregnant. All the inconveniences of pregnancy don't hold a candle to how much I love this baby already.

Although I am not a fan of being pregnant right now (the nausea is killing me), I am very grateful that I finally was able to get pregnant and that I will be bringing our family into this world. I am most looking forward to meeting our babies in a few months!

I love being pregnant too. First tri doesn't suck for me as much as it does for others though. I absolutely love baby kicks. And feeling tiny feet. I'm hoping I have an anterior placenta though. I had one last time and my babe was strong. I'm glad I had that extra cushion.

I'm a FTM so I'm learning as I go, but I'm loving being pregnant. Even though I'm nauseous all the time and my boobs are incredibly painful and I'm crampy and exhausted. I just feel so blesse to finally be pregnant that it's all good! (Although next time, I'm requesting less puking)

I love being pregnant, too. This time I'm a bit more freaked with two though!

I loved being kicked and having the big belly.

Made it feel more real. With twins, I'm excited to see them together in the ultrasounds as they get bigger (with my first set, during the 3D u/s she was kicking him a bunch and it was really cute), and I'm sure I'll feel way more kicks and stuff than with DD.

I totally understand the way too excited part! Lol I'm in my 4th and I'm still just as ghost as I was on the first one. Every week, I freak out that I'm a week further hahaha DW think I'm weird I know but she celebrates with me.

My favorite part last time was feeling baby kicks. Being a bigger girl, I also liked having a baby belly instead of just a fat belly

My skin and hair look better when I am pregnant. The early movements when they are strong enough for DH to feel but not strong enough to cause lightning crotch are fun, too. Can't wait for DD to feel her brother or sister kick.

Not having a period rocks, too.

Kicks are cool, and it's nice to have random strangers be extra nice to you.

Overall though, pregnancy is just a means to an end. I have easy pregnancies, and yet, if I could afford it, I'd pay a surrogate.

While I do not hate pregnancy, I don't "love" it either. And honestly there just is not a whole lot of first trimester to like and we are all tired and crabby right now. However, I love(d) feeling the baby move or have hiccups. I also liked how nice random people are once you are obviously showing.

I'm a FTM and despite allllllll my complaints I celebrate every day and am fascinated by the development of the LO. I especially like the extra TLC from DH and getting away with hormonal tantrums!

I agree with a PP. My favorite part is when I get so hold my sweet baby and have the good drugs. And be able to poop. And look at food without gagging. As awful as it sounds, I detest being pregnant. I'd do it a hundred times if it meant having a healthy baby, but I don't like it.

I enjoy being pregnant (once I'm out of 1st tri that is). The best part of being pregnant for me was feeling the baby move and having the hiccups.

FTM here and I can't wait to feel the kicks and hiccups, oh and I'm really hoping for that great pregnancy sex in the second trimester cause it certainly isn't here yet!

I'm one of the people who hates pregnancy and am just looking forward to it being over and having a baby, but I guess I could find a few good things. I like ultrasounds and hearing the heartbeat. I have my first ultrasound today and I'm excited. I'm looking forward to the first trimester being over and getting to the second (and then dreading the third). I was trying to lose weight before and am one of those people who has to count calories and I'm glad I don't have to worry about it for a while.

ETA: feeling the baby move is pretty fun too

I'm a FTM and haven't felt pregnant yet (@7w 5d) since my symptoms have been minimal. I am excited for the baby bump to come and I love being able to go to bed at 8:15 without my husband trying to get me to stay up!

this is my first, and i am enjoying the many conversations about how this kid will turn my world upside down. My parents friends are amazing at coming up with the craziest ideas! "this kid will pee on his/her grandfather, and HE will like it!", and with that, their constant need to keep me fed, i will be a butter ball at the end of this :-)

I'm one of the crazies who loved my entire pregnancy last time. Only gained 14 pounds and never a sick day! This little one is a different story so far though....haven't had one day WITHOUT being sick! :-S We'll see if I still love pregnancy as much after this:)
