This check-in is open to anyone that is part of the SAIF community and is currently TTC again, either on their own, or via injectibles, IUI, IVF, adoption, etc. Occasionally, I do a bit of clean up. If you have dropped off and would like to be added again, just comments and you'll be back in business
TTC again, even after successfully bringing home a LO (or multiple LOs) is a stressful process for all of us, and this group is meant to allow us the opportunity to provide support and suggestions to one another, and to receive the same in return.
A check-in will be posted every week. Please send me a PM or reply to the check-in post if you would like to be added to the group. Each check-in will provide the opportunity for you to provide an update as to where you currently are in your TTC.

AKB090609- I had an us yesterday to check for cysts since I'm on cd48. The tech saw 'something', but of course couldn't tell me what. Waiting is hard.

chiwifey - IF may have kicked my booty back in Sept but I'm back and ready to fight to complete my little family :!! (did we decide that this emoticon is a big muscle?) I'm currently taking Chinese herbs, going for acu and praying for a miracle. Our second opinion consult is Jan. 30.
Mayzie 15 - I'm pretty sure I missed my opportunity this month - but MH and I are so tired from sleep deprivation it just wasn't going to happen this month and we are okay with it - there is always next month.

Robeano - Well I talked to my family doctor, and since I'm still nursing Hannah she said it's probably best I don't start taking metformin until I wean her. Still no period

carrera317 - BW and US went well yesterday. My lining was 9.5 (a miracle for me). I started PIO and doxycycline last night. FET is scheduled for Monday (12/16/13)!!! Let the jitters begin (although you'd think I"d be over it by now)
ccam - AF finally arrived on the 12/4/13, so I will go for bw on Christmas Eve and hopefully my cycle is regular this month. I should start Lupron that night or Christmas night (yay Lupron for Christmas...) and then my transfer date will be set for January.

Emwaiting - TTC #2, I have never checked in before. We had to do IVF for #1 and we were lucky to have IVF work on the first try. DS is almost 3 months and I am currently on day 4 of Provera. I will start Clomid and Femara after AF arrives, monitor follicles and then do timed intercourse and see what happens. Drs think our best chance for #2 is to try ASAP and we are sooo lucky DS is such a good baby!!!

Hopeful1981 - TTC #2, currently on CD34 waiting for AF to start so that I can embark on my IVF cycle. I have endo and have been on Lupron since CD23. Will be stimming with Follistim and Menopur.
Kaf7 - I am cycle day 11 and just waiting to start suprefact on the 21st. Still feeling a rollercoaster of emotions about all of it. LO is 9m today and I could just squeeze him to bits today. We are financially unstable at the moment so the thought of being oop and having to fly last minute for my FET is a bit unnerving today too....
Kdfecarie - Well today is transfer day (12/11/13)! I will be PUPO this afternoon!

Kissies - fet was yest afternoon. Of course my phone call about if our one frostie made thaw was few mins late then cut off time i was a wreck! Beta is 12/23/13. I had already told family 26th that an fet due date calender stated. So we r hopin to surprise them with a great christmas gift!

mdiblasi10 - 9dpo today. I go back and forth every day, feeling positive one moment and sure that it didn't work the next. I will probably test on Friday. I am scared out of my mind.
Mnerani - I'm on CD7, on Letrozole and Gonal-F. I'm super anxious about our timing for IUI#1 this month. DH is traveling CDs 10 to 13 and then we are both out of town starting on CD16. So basically, we have a 2.5 day window to work with- UGH. And since this is my first treatment cycle PP, we don't know how my body will respond to the meds. On Saturday, I have a scan to see how my follies have responded so far. FX that they are growing sloooowly but surely!
MoFree - My beta is Sunday (12/15/13) and I refuse to test until that morning. My gut tells me the FET didn't work. I have zero symptoms and just feel different from my first IVF
nycbride0707 - I go in Sat for one last check, and then hopefully everything looks good and transfer in Sunday, with beta 11/19. Been doing PIO since Tues, man I'm sore!
PennyLane26 - Grrr. I.hate.insurance. (or lack of it). So I got my period Sunday and was supposed to start pre-cycle testing on CD3. DH and I were quoted $2500 (we are OOP) for our FET cycle. I assumed pre-cycle testing would be covered since our clinic didn't include this cost at our consult. I was wrong. 
This means our FET will be pushed back another month. Kind of disappointing, but we are taking it in stride. There's always something...
readyornot24 - I m in the middle of ivf for #2. I had egg retrieval today (12/13) and I had 17 retrieved. I am actually shocked since I was expecting 4 or 5 based on previous retrievals and where my numbers were at....I had to ask the dr if he really had the right results for me. Now waiting on the fert report
Rjade9 - I'd like to be added! We have our appointment with our RE next Thursday to come up with a plan for our FET. In the meantime we are not, not trying

CallMeAl - BFP, edd 2/26/14. We had a fetal echo appt on Tuesday which went really well. They are watching a cyst in DS's brain, but they said most resolve on their own. We'll get another look at it in about 7 more weeks
Mcgeeva - All looks good. They want me to pick my c-section date by the 31st when I go for my glucose test. I will do another scan as it gets closer to due date to check on the placenta acerta. Everything else seems to be textbook right now so I hope it stays that way. BP is staying down these days so no meds woopwoop.
RoseHQ12 - 24 weeks & so happy to be at this point. GTT today & looks like I passed phew! SCH still lingers, it's my other "baby" at this point!

Mr.& Mrs. Woodtick - I haven't really updated in a while but long story short we got some news at our NT scan that changed my pregnancy from routine to high risk. We had our level II ultrasound last week and we go back next week for a follow up. I have my monthly OB appointment tomorrow.
TJ1979 - 16 weeks today. Feeling better most of the time. My back is hurting REALLY badly, but other than that sometimes I forget I'm pregnant. Loving feeling deuce wiggling around in there!!
Cwhitaker27 - I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow. We told our families on Sunday at "our Thanksgiving". I just told the doctors I work with today since I was off mon/tues sick and throwing up all day. They were/are very supportive so that's great! We are telling the rest of our family and friends via our Christmas card next week. Overall still feeling very sick but happy to let the cat outta the bag mostly.

Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses....
All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!

QOTW: I've re-gifted some shower gifts I received. I got a ton of books at my shower and a lot of repeats, which I gave for birthday gifts to other kids. Since we were team green, I got some gender neutral stuff that was more girly to me, so I re-gifted those, too. It was all new, so I guess I didn't see a problem with it! And they were usually in addition to something else I bought.

That's about it! Oh and one bottle of wine I took to a friends wine night since im not currently throwing back with the ladies. Oops! Now it would it would suck if you regifted to the same person. I hope someone has a funny story here!!

QOTW: yes I have re-gifted lots of things. How many smelly candles and lotions do people think one girl needs? Yikes!
I've actually been to a "re-gift" party after Christmas one year. We took our best gifts that we didn't like wrapped them up and did a gift exchange with them. It was hilarious!

QOTD - I can't think of anything I have regifted - I think I always fear that I will forget who gave me something and accidently regift it back to that person. I had someone regift me a baby book - LOL funny thing was in the inside cover it said "Dear Baby's Name" Love Aunt's Name" It was too funny that it was so obvious that the person didn't open the cover to even see it
Me 38 MH 41 - TTC since June 2010 - dx with Severe MFI. Straight to IVF with ICSI. IVF #1 - ER 06/13/12 - 9 Eggs Retrieved - 4 ICSI'd - only 2 fert. 06/15/12 - 2DT - 3 cell & 6 cell with fragmentation. Beta 06/29/12 - IVF #1 = BFN. 07/20/12 - WTF Appt -Told by our RE to quit IVF. Second Opinion from RE is good. IVF#2 - November 2012. Estradiol Pills Started 11/6. Stims start 11/16. ER 11/26 - 7 eggs retrieved - all mature. 4 fertilized with ICSI. ET 11/29 Transferred 3 embryos. Beta is 12/10. 1st Beta 81 2nd Beta 160 and 3rd beta 360!!! First U/S 12/21/12 - We saw one beautiful gest. sac. 2nd U/S is 01/04/2013 - H/B 183 02/05/13 - NT Scan - everything looks good and IT'S A BOY! Aiden was born 08/20/2013.
IVF #2 is in progress. ER was 05/12/14 - 11 eggs retrieved, 8 fertilized with ICSI. ET was 05/15/14 - we transferred 3 embryos as we did on the cycle my son was conceived. We were able to freeze 3 embryos. Beta is scheduled for 05/26/14. 1st beta - 111. 2nd beta - 159 didn't double
3rd beta Friday 5/30) - not a lot of hope left. Beta # 3 is 247 - probably ectopic. Beta # 4 is 813 - possibly vanishing multiple sydrome? 06/05/14 - 5w4days - first U/S - we see a gestational sac and yolk - still have hope! 06/17/14 - 7w1day - U/S and saw and heard the heartbeat - Finally! 06/27/14 - 8w4days - Baby and heartbeat look and sound great 
EDD 02/01/14 and It's a boy!

My beta is Sunday and I refuse to test until that morning. My gut tells me the FET didn't work. I have zero symptoms and just feel different from my first IVF.
QOTD: I regifted a Baby's First Christmas ornament that came from my parents, who still cannot accept that I celebrate different religious holidays from them because I am Jewish. My friend put it to good use on her tree.
