Aundrea1225 Baby is finally home! Story!

Sunday night before 11pm I started feeling period like cramps that were finally timeable, I was already 3-4cm, and they were coming every 5mins. The pain was just enough to say Ouch each time, then it went to 2mins apart by 1am and I decided to go in and get checked. I was 6cm when the doctor decided to break my water and get my epidural. Once the water broke I was in the worst pain i'd ever felt. The contractions almost had me screaming. The epi came quick and I felt so much better and took a little nap. Woke up later and was checked, 10cm and ready to push. I pushed for 2 hours before they decided it just wasn't going to happen. The epidural was too strong for me to feel anything, so they turned it off and it slowly let me find my ability to push, but it wasn't enough. He even tried using a vacuum. She was face down and everything was fine, she just wasn't coming quick enough. So they had me do a C-section. It was so quick and easy. The recovery has been a nightmare of pain. She is a low level jaundice, but the pediatrician said her levels are so low she was cleared to go home today! Such a brat when it comes to latching and sucking for breast feeding, I tried so hard until I broke down and decided to use a pump and bottle today. it's been quite an experience. But I'm so happy to welcome Lily Anna, 7lbs 9oz 20inches, born at 1:47pm Dec 8!
