Daycare recommendations in DC

I'm looking at daycare options for my 7-month old in DC. We live in NE and my husband and I both work downtown and take metro so something fairly metro accessible would be helpful. So far I've only found centers charging over $400/wk. At that rate it doesn't make sense for both of us to work. Does anyone know of a center in the 200-300 range? TIA.

    We are due in March and we've found nothing in that range. In fact a few months ago we actually had to put our names on a wait list. From what I understand, in home daycare and nanny sharing are the cheaper alternatives. Good luck!

    Same issue here. Hubby and I decided I would just stay home and maybe down the road when LO is older and cheaper then we might consider daycare.
