Babies: 0 - 3 Months

New Here

Hello Ladies, I'm Magda and from Brooklyn, NY. I have a little girl who just turned 2 month and 2 days. I am attempting to put her on a night schedule so she sleeps through the night. She usually goes down at 11pm and sleeps till 4/5am. Last night put her down at 9pm and she woke up for a feeding at 2am. Any advice on her to keep her down through the whole night. Further, any of you live in the area or know of any good mommy and me classes? Great to meet you all!

Re: New Here

  • Welcome! I don't think there's anything you can do to get her to sleep longer other than to keep doing what you're doing. She will sleep longer when she's ready. She is waking because she's hungry. Totally normal at her age! And be aware that when she does start to sleep longer, she may go through periods of sleep regression as well.

  • At two months, that five hour stretch is considered sttn. Over the next month our two that might stretch out to six hours, then by six or so months you'll probably regularly have nights with 6-8 hrs.
