I saw this on my Facebook feed via a breast feeding group that I'm a part of. While I think it's great that she's breast feeding and not afraid to post a picture breast feeding I'm totally annoyed by her "team" of beauty aids. If only all moms had a team to keep her looking glamorous. As a working mom, or sahm, I'm just happy when I can get a shower and out the door on time! I guess I feel her picture is just a tad unrealistic.
Ehh. She made that comment years ago and I remember a lot of people flipped. I think she didn't think her comment through and was swept up in her own motherhood experience. I didn't BFd E and I wasn't offended.
Breastfeeding debates feel like just another fork in the mommy wars. I'm over it.
I just can't stand her. She seems to have a superior attitude and clearly she has a different reality than most. She made some comments a few years back about moms not losing baby weight and stuff and that annoyed me. Good for her for BF her children, but clearly she lives in a MUCH different world than I'm used to.
This is my plan after the twins are born... Hands free breast feeding while my team takes care of how I look, and by team I mean MH wiping the spit up out of my hair and cleavage!
Gisele is one of those celebrities who makes me do a serious eye-roll every time she opens her mouth. I remember when she made the comment after having her first child that she didn't even find childbirth painful. Um, okay.
She's just pretentious from sun up to sun down.

I have nothing against the picture, but I find it hard to relate to her. I don't mean to downplay the fact that she went through pregnancy and having a newborn just like everyone else, but life is different when you have millions in the bank account.
Yeah the way I view it is that she's probably at a shoot somewhere and needed to get ready...If you watch "more business of being born" you can hear her zen point of view of giving birth..I really don't think she meant anything negative by the comment about a law, she just seems to be really into her "natural" way of doing things. I mostly formula fed my DD and I'm not offended by that...it would be great if everyone could BF until 6 months. I just think that looks like an awesome life..get to hold and feed your baby while a team of people make you look gorgeous..Like others have said, I'm lucky if I get to shower and blow dry my hair some days!

All I can say is whatever. She has nothing to do with how me or millions of other mothers choose to raise our children.
I would really love if some non-celebrity mom did a remake of this photo with real, everyday multi-tasking.
Maybe we ought to make a contest out of this after all of our LO's are here!
